A Star to Be Update

What  a busy week!  But I did find time to finish assembling the points on my Radiant Star (using Eleanor Burns’ Quilt in a Day methods).  I’m thrilled with the results!

But now I need to put it away and finish a quilt that I have been commissioned to make by my niece as well as a baby quilt for an upcoming baby shower.

A very effective placement of colours. I love it. 🙂

Well, I can’t take total credit…I followed E. Burns’ roadmap (or would that be quiltmap?) for color placement, but thanks for the compliment. Unfortunately, the photo doesn’t do the colors justice.

WOW; it is really coming along. Hard to work on more than one project at a time. I am trying to do that too!!

It was surprising how quickly it came together doing it the Quilt-in-a-Day way. I love working on multiple projects at once…I can hop from one to the other whenever I get bored, and I can always have some inspiration on the design wall. 🙂 Just hope I don’t get mixed up as I am wont to do and start putting the pieces into the wrong quilt. LOL!

Carolyn, this is absolutely beautiful and FLAT! I love Eleanor Burns’ methods. She makes complicated patterns so simple to follow. She is also a very nice and giving lady without pretenses. Thanks for sharing your blog with me.

Thanks for coming by, Carla, and the compliments. Hopefully it will still be flat when I sew them together. 🙂
